Full Mouth Reconstruction

Here at Hawaii Pacific Dental Group, we offer something called the smile makeover, otherwise known as a full mouth reconstruction of your teeth. Patients that are candidates for these are those who have had several different types of dental procedures on many different teeth in their mouth, perhaps that are mismatching due to gum recession over the years of their life or different colors and shades of their teeth as they've aged throughout their life. When a patient gets their entire smile made over, all the restorations are the same color, uniform and oftentimes very much more harmonious in the patient's smile. There are several different methods in how a smile makeover can be achieved. We like to take a more conservative and slower approach, addressing the patient's posterior bite or occlusion first, knowing that things are safe and healthy as well as their oral health, periodontal health, gum health before we enhance the beauty portion of their smile. Our patients are typically very happy with the decision to make a smile made over. It is a life changing event for most people whereby their confidence shoots through the roof. I've had several patients come to me after their smile makeover saying, "Dr. Patel, thank you. You've changed my life and this was the best decision I ever made."
