Pain-free Extraction
Dr. Patel excels at providing painless tooth extraction. Using the WAND single-tooth anesthesia system and a personally-developed method of administering local anesthesia, Dr. Patel can help you set the stage for dental restoration in the best possible comfort.
IV Sedation
Intravenous sedation involves delivering a sedative directly into the patient’s bloodstream. IV sedation is an excellent way to relieve anxiety, inducing a deep state of relaxation. This method of sedation helps patients achieve a state of near-sleep but they are still able to respond to commands.
Nitrous Oxide
Nitrous oxide, or laughing gas, has been used in dental procedures for more than a century. The gas is inhaled through a mask that covers the nose. After we stop delivering nitrous oxide, the effects wear off promptly, so the patient can drive and continue normal daily activities afterward.
Oral Conscious Sedation
Oral conscious sedation involves taking a pill in order to achieve a state of twilight sleep. The patient feels very relaxed and calm, almost to the point of falling asleep, but can still respond to commands. You should plan to have a friend or family member drive you to and from the office.
